Your farm, your records
What is stored
We save submitted inquiries, photos, replies, revisions, corrections, field updates, and the sources and AI configuration used to prepare them. Failed and unfinished inquiries are also saved so you can resume. Records are private to your account; authorized application administrators can review them under this policy.
Farm records expire 365 days after a farm conversation is created. You can download or delete your farm records from the conversation. Deletion removes stored photos, plans, messages and the associated Work record. A noncontent deletion receipt remains.
Try first, save later
Free visitors can start after agreeing to this policy. An anonymous, private browser cookie protects the draft for up to seven days; clearing the cookie may prevent you from returning to it. Save asks for an email address, an email verification code and a five-digit farm ZIP. Once saved, your email account owns the draft and the configured farm retention period starts again. Your ZIP is planning context, not a surveyed property location. Email and exact ZIP are not included in reviewed training exports.
Your location is private
Specific addresses, exact coordinates and property boundaries are not used to train models. Reviewed training examples may use only a broad region, such as the US Southeast. This applies to both Free and Private users. Location fields are kept in your private farm record and excluded from training export schemas; review and export checks reject recognizable precise locations in reviewed text. Human de-identification review is still required.
You can create an account with a verified email when locating your farm, or use a private browser draft for up to seven days. Creating an account does not by itself opt out of Free training contribution. Private at $120/year excludes all your farm records from training.
Address lookup sends the address to the US Census geocoding service. Viewing aerial or topographic maps requests the visible map area from USGS. Elevation lookup sends the location pin to USGS. These services process location data to deliver maps, not to train our models. You may use a plain unlocated design without these requests. Imported GeoJSON is read locally until you save the farm. Downloaded GeoJSON contains precise coordinates; share it only with people you intend.
AI and research services
The map’s stored address, coordinates and parcel boundary are not sent in the AI profile. Addresses you type directly into chat are still part of your message. The configured Nabu AI provider receives your messages, relevant prior conversation, approved knowledge excerpts and sanitized versions of photos you attach. Repo Thrift receives only fixed public research topics, never your private farm text or photos. Original photos stay in private storage. Providers apply their own service retention terms; deleting your farm does not promise deletion of provider records.
Free or Private
Free planning requires your explicit agreement to contribute reviewed, de-identified farming examples to improve future models. Nothing is preselected. Only examples that pass a separate quality, rights and de-identification review can enter a training export. Raw photos are excluded. AI suggestions retain their inferred label.
If you do not want to contribute, create an account and choose Private: $120 per year, billed annually. There is no monthly option. Private excludes your records from training; service storage and the AI processing needed to answer your questions still apply. Checkout must be available and your subscription verified as paid before new planning can begin.
You can stop contributing in the chat at any time without paying first. Withdrawal applies across all your farms and immediately excludes existing records from future training exports. New planning pauses unless your annual subscription is active. Reading, downloading and deleting saved farm records remain available. Previously exported dataset IDs are recorded; withdrawal cannot reverse training already performed. Rejoining Free requires fresh agreement and does not make withdrawn or private records eligible again. No model training occurs in this first phase.
Annual billing
Private renews annually at $120. Manage payment details or cancel future renewal through Manage billing. Cancellation at the end of a paid term preserves access until that term ends. Failed payment or expiry never turns on training contribution automatically. Stripe processes billing; farm messages and photos are not sent to Stripe.
What a plan means
Exploration produces concepts with explicit assumptions. Photographs do not establish surveyed boundaries, soil chemistry, diagnoses or guaranteed earnings. Full protocol review is a separate step and is currently unavailable for customer farm artifacts.
